A fine gauge knit with the collar worked in the same yarn as the body
The collar is knitted flat in the same fine gauge as the body instead of being a separate ribbed collar stitched on, so it lies soft and flat rather than standing up off the neck. The placket below it is short and takes three small dark buttons. The sleeve runs full length and finishes in a plain knit with no ribbed cuff, and the body is smooth the whole way down - no rib, no pocket and no print anywhere on it.
