Woven midi dress with a gathered yoke, three quarter sleeves and ladder openwork panels
A yoke runs across the chest and the whole body of the dress is gathered onto it, so the fullness starts high and falls straight to mid calf. A band of ladder openwork is stitched down each front panel seam and repeated down the outside of the sleeve, which is what stops a plain dress reading as plain. The neck is a deep V fastened with one button, the sleeve reaches below the elbow, and there is a pocket in each side seam.

- Deep V neck. Held by a single button at the point.
