Short dress with full balloon sleeves, a gathered side seam and a wrapped ruffled skirt
The neckline is a plain round with nothing on it, so all the volume sits in the sleeve: cut wide from the shoulder and gathered into a narrow cuff at the wrist. The waist is gathered along one side seam, which draws the cloth across the front, and the skirt wraps over itself and finishes in a ruffle that runs down the diagonal and around the hem.
