Bell sleeves and a brushstroke print on a short flared dress
The bodice is drawn into close vertical gathers that run down from a V opening, and the skirt breaks away from it into a flared tier with a second frill at the hem. The sleeves reach the forearm and widen into a bell, gathered into a small ruffle at the cuff. The print is an abstract brushstroke - broad irregular strokes over a cream ground, so no two panels of the dress look quite the same.
